Amelie Tassin - Founder and Director

For over 15 years, Amelie has developed her skills in strategy, business management, marketing, brand development while also excelling in events coordination and social media management.

Fluent in both English and French, she has had the opportunity to work in several sectors such as retail banking, property development, cosmetics, and Food & Drinks in France and in the UK. In 2017, she was awarded an MBA in global business management which provided her with a valuable understanding of business strategy.

Passionate about craft beer, she launched and developed one of the first beer bottle shops in Paris, before moving to the UK and working with food & drinks businesses like Campervan Brewery, Top Out, Bluestone Brewing Co. and Moonwake Beer.

In 2018 she founded Women In Beer, a “women who beer” group in Edinburgh, in 2019 the successful Women In Beer Festival (WIB Fest), and in 2023 launched the Women in Beer Mentorship Programme. Aimed at women who work in the beer and brewing sector, the programme allow them to be paired with experienced women of the industry who will share advice, skills, and access to a wider network.

A fierce advocate for more equality and inclusivity in the food and drink industry, Amelie also organises workshops and inclusivity training designed to help businesses improve their DEI practices and provide a safe and welcoming environment for their team and customers.

Amelie is also a member of The British Guild of Beer Writers.
