Amelie Tassin - Founder and Director
For over 20 years, Amelie has developed her skills in strategy, business management, marketing, brand development while also excelling in events coordination and social media management.
Fluent in both English and French, she has had the opportunity to work in several sectors such as retail banking, property development, cosmetics, and Food & Drinks in France and in the UK. In 2017, she was awarded an MBA in global business management which provided her with a valuable understanding of business strategy.
Passionate about craft beer, she launched and developed one of the first beer bottle shops in Paris, before moving to the UK and working with various breweries and food and drinks businesses.
A fierce advocate for more equality and inclusivity in the food and drink industry, Amelie is the founder of Women in Beer and organises workshops and inclusivity training designed to help businesses improve their DEI practices.
Amelie is also a member of The British Guild of Beer Writers.
Daisy Turnell - Director
Daisy Turnell is a marketing professional with 23 years of experience in the craft beer and hospitality industries, including 15 years dedicated to marketing, communications, and events. As a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and the British Guild of Beer Writers, her expertise is both extensive and well-recognised within the industry.
Daisy's career has been marked by a passion for craft beer. As the owner of Craft Beer Newcastle, she has fostered a vibrant community of beer enthusiasts, and promotes breweries from across the North East of England.
An experienced beer judge, Daisy can be found at various beer competitions, as well as working as a guest columnist at Appetite Magazine.
Outside of the industry, she is a committed charity trustee and volunteer at Building Futures East, where she contributes to helping the local community in Newcastle upon Tyne where she lives.
