Junior Marketing & Communication Executive
Contract: Part-time - 3 days per week
Salary: £25,000 per annum, pro-rata (£15,000 actual per annum for 3 days per week)
Location: Office-based - Edinburgh or Newcastle

The role:
We are looking for a passionate, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to join our small agency and support Tipple Marketing in its next phase of growth. You will be working on multiple brands and collaborating with clients, suppliers, and freelancers working with our company.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the directors of the company, you will be tasked with the following duties for Tipple and its clients:
Social media:
Contribute to and support the team on the social media strategy and planning
Schedule social media posts across different channels
Deliver copy in line with each client's brand tone of voice and guidelines
Create basic design and visuals
Analyse and report on social media performance
Copywriting:
Contribute to and support the team on strategy for PR, newsletter and blog posts
Deliver copy for PR, newsletter, and blog posts
Research, promotion and events:
Support the team on market research & Industry trends monitoring
Support the team on brand promotion, and occasional events and activations
Essential skills:
Ability to understand and communicate multiple brand identities, maintaining a tone of voice across all digital channels
Excellent written and verbal communication
High level of attention to detail
Ability to analyse data to evaluate campaign performance
Proactive, innovative, and open to new ideas
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Proficiency in digital tools (Canva, Google Workspace, etc.) and social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google Business
A passion for the craft beer/hospitality/drinks industry
Qualification and experience:
A degree in marketing or journalism is preferred, but not essential
Previous experience in marketing and/or hospitality/beer industry
Required:
Proven right to work in the UK + Must be 18+ as they will be working with alcohol brands
Challenges and opportunities of the role:
Tipple is a growing startup. The right candidate will have the opportunity to build and expand their role within the company. WSET Level 1 in beer will be offered, as well as regular marketing training opportunities. Occasional travel to events and meetings within the UK.
